What Do You Know?

Have you ever felt like you were working harder and getting no where? Has there ever been a point where the buzzing in your head was constant, you just couldn’t get the noise to be quiet? Do you remember not being able to shut your mind off, you couldn’t concentrate on just one thing, your “do to” list was endless? You knew you were out of balance, but you just couldn’t slow down enough to figure out exactly why? Stop. Turn off your brain and get back to your heart; this is where the answers and direction are to be found. Recognize this emotional and physical state, then ask yourself:

* Do you know we have to love and honor ourselves first before we can have positive relationships with anyone else; spouses, children, family, friends or in our work?
* Do you know that we have to set healthy boundaries with others, believing that we also deserve continued support and respect?
* Do you know that no matter what our circumstances, we can find the strength, knowledge and motivation to leave a legacy?
* Do you know that rich, poor, alone, surrounded by family and people, healthy or infirm, educated or illiterate; we each have to find our own path and stay focused to reach our heart’s goals?
* Do you know that every day you have to have a reason to get up, to get out, to have a reason and purpose to reaffirm your worth, talents and passions?
* Do you know that life is going to take some work and effort to be what you want it to be?
* Do you know that all relationships require some level of effort, forgiveness, compassion and patience?

* Do you know that life is meant to be lived with laughter, fun, joy and in the spirit of faith and gratefulness?
